By accessing our website, booking a session, or purchasing any service from Whole Living by CK Harris, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Whole Living by CK Harris ("the Practice," "we," "us," or "our") provides virtual (telehealth) occupational therapy services conducted by Dr. Cameron Harris, OTD, OTR/L, a licensed occupational therapist. By accessing our website, booking a session, or using our services, you ("the Client," "you," or "your") agree to the following terms in full. All services are:
Not Emergency Care. Our services do not constitute emergency, crisis, or urgent medical care. If you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, having thoughts of harming yourself or others, or are in crisis, do not use this service — call 911 immediately or go to your nearest emergency room. Whole Living by CK Harris is not equipped to respond to emergencies and does not provide on-call or after-hours crisis services.
No Guarantee of Outcomes. Occupational therapy outcomes vary by individual. We make no representation, warranty, or guarantee, express or implied, regarding any specific result, improvement, cure, or outcome from participation in our services. Results depend on numerous factors including your participation, effort, health status, and circumstances beyond our control.
Evaluation Policy. All treatment is based on a comprehensive Whole Living occupational therapy evaluation and an active plan of care. Each 6-session individual bundle includes a progress reassessment and plan-of-care review during the final treatment visit at no additional charge. A comprehensive re-evaluation is required before further individual treatment when 6 months have passed since the most recent comprehensive evaluation or after 18 individual treatment visits (3 bundles), whichever comes first, and sooner whenever clinically indicated because of a meaningful change in function, medical status, safety, goals, or telehealth appropriateness. Continued skilled OT is never automatic and remains subject to clinical appropriateness. Whole Living serves clients physically located in North Carolina; NCBOT does not require a physician order for private-pay occupational therapy evaluation or treatment.
If you are uninsured or choose not to use insurance to pay for care, you may have a federal right to a written Good Faith Estimate of expected charges. Review the Good Faith Estimate notice before scheduling or request an estimate from Whole Living.
Whole Living uses Stripe-hosted payment links for secure online payments and Sessions Health for scheduling, clinical onboarding, and client-portal workflow. Payment does not confirm clinical appropriateness or an appointment. Clients should not enter diagnoses or other unnecessary health information into Stripe payment fields. Credit/debit and eligible HSA/FSA cards may be used when supported by the card and benefit plan.
Occupational therapy services are provided exclusively through telehealth. By booking, paying for, or participating in any session, you provide your informed consent and acknowledge and agree that:
Group Session Consent. Group services are delivered in a shared virtual setting. If you enroll in a group service, you specifically acknowledge and agree that: (a) you will join the same practice-approved group telehealth session as other clients who signed up for that group, and all participants (2 to 4 people) can see and hear one another; (b) you consent to participating on a call alongside other clients seeking similar support; (c) Dr. Harris will provide personal, individualized feedback to you during the session, which other participants may see and hear, and you may likewise see and hear the feedback given to others; (d) your private records, intake information, evaluation results, contact information, and personal data will never be shared, read aloud, or displayed to the group — only what you personally choose to say or show is visible to others; (e) you control what you disclose and are never required to share anything; and (f) you agree to keep confidential anything shared by other participants and not to record or repeat it. While the provider maintains professional confidentiality and requires the same of all participants, the provider cannot guarantee that other participants will honor these expectations, and you accept this inherent limitation as a condition of participating in group services.
Whole Living by CK Harris provides occupational therapy services only, within the professional scope of practice of a licensed occupational therapist and within the bounds of Dr. Harris's competence and licensure. Our services are not a replacement for care from a physician, psychiatrist, psychologist, licensed counselor, or other healthcare provider. Our services do not include and shall not be construed as:
If Dr. Harris determines that your needs exceed the scope of occupational therapy or telehealth services, you will be referred to appropriate in-person or specialist care.
Clinical Referral Out and Termination. We reserve the right to decline, discontinue, or refer out any client at any time if we determine, in our sole professional judgment, that our services are not appropriate, that your needs exceed the scope of virtual occupational therapy, that you are not a suitable candidate for telehealth or group services, or that continuing would be contrary to professional or ethical standards. Discontinuation for clinical appropriateness does not entitle you to a refund of services already rendered.

Please read this section carefully, as it limits our liability to you.
Assumption of Risk. You understand and voluntarily accept that participation in occupational therapy, including any exercises, activities, recommendations, or home programs provided, carries inherent risks. You agree to participate at your own risk and to consult your physician before beginning any new physical activity or program recommended during your sessions. You are responsible for performing activities safely within your own abilities and environment.
No Warranties. All services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or any guarantee of specific therapeutic results.
Limitation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Whole Living by CK Harris, Dr. Cameron Harris, and any affiliated persons shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind — including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, lost income, emotional distress, or damages arising from technology failures, delays, interruptions, or the acts or disclosures of other group participants — arising from or related to your use of our website or services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Cap on Liability. In no event shall our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising out of or relating to the services exceed the total amount you actually paid to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Indemnification. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Whole Living by CK Harris and Dr. Cameron Harris from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the services, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such cases, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
To participate in services, you agree that you will:
Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in suspension or termination of services without refund.
We take the privacy of your information seriously and handle it in accordance with applicable law and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. In summary:
Sessions are private. Neither you nor any other participant may record, screenshot, or capture any session without the provider's prior written consent. If the provider ever wishes to record any session for documentation or supervision purposes, your separate written consent will be obtained in advance. Unauthorized recording or distribution of any session is a violation of these Terms and may be unlawful.
Most concerns can be resolved informally. You agree to first contact us in good faith to attempt to resolve any dispute before initiating formal proceedings. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the services that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis, conducted in the state whose law governs these Terms, rather than in court, except that either party may seek relief in small claims court for qualifying claims. You and the Practice waive any right to a jury trial and agree not to participate in a class action. This provision does not apply where prohibited by law.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the state in which Dr. Cameron Harris is primarily licensed to practice, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
